Underneath Lie interred the mortal remains of WILLIAM HOWARD late of DISLEY Timber Merchant. He died June 7th, aged 54 years MDCCCXXI (The "Disley" is in a very fancy font)
East side, nearest the church
Also of MARTHA HOWARD the beloved wife of WILLIAM HOWARD, She died December 23rd; aged 60 years MDCCCXXXIX

His Increase was the Labour of his Hands, which built his Walls in Righteousness and crowned his Board with Plenty Aided by a faithful Helpmate, with whom he lived in the Bond of Peace, he brought up a numerous Family in the Nurture and Admonition of the Loerd.

Who have deposited this sacred Tomb in Filial Reverence to a father's Memory, seeking to follow the Steps of his Example, After a short and sudden Illness his Soul departed from its earthly Tabernacle, returning to God who gave it, and leaving behind the Record of a good Name, amongst the Circle of his Acquaintance and Neighbours.

Grave AA6 is on the left hand side of the main gate, walking toward the church, one or two stones down from the wall and some three graves in from the path. It’s a flat grave stone about three feet wide and 5 feet long. Lettering is clearly visible and the stone is in very good condition (as of 2007.)
